Description

Patola journals are inspired by an equally unique method of making a textile. This special weave, usually made from silk, is a double Ikat and combines the techniques of tying, dyeing and weaving. Many consider Patola as the ‘ultimate of weaving perfection’ because the displacement of even one thread can result in a deformed pattern.

Patola Journal consists of a 60 paged text block made of 100 gsm Fedrigoni Arena Natural Rough Dotted Papers,  a decorative pattern paper on a recycled cover and all put together by saddle stitch binding on the spine.

  • 14.8 x 21 cm / 5.8 x 8.2 inch
  • 60 pages
  • 100 gsm Fedrigoni Arena Natural Rough Dotted Paper

Each notebook in this collection is one of a kind hand–made product with special care and attention to every detail which make these sketchbooks very special to me and hopefully to anyone who buys it either as a present or for personal use.
